RFID Frequently Asked Questions

  • Where to install the RFID?

    RFID must be installed by the authorized SBDMC, Inc. personnel on the non-metal part of the vehicle (headlight, fairings, visor).

  • How long is the validity of the RFID?

    SBGP RFID is valid only for one (1) year from the date of issuance/registration.

  • How do I keep my RFID in great condition?

    • Do not put excessive force on the black chip at the middle part of the RFID.
    • Do not peel it off and transfer in other location or vehicle.
    • Do not spray directly with pressure washer during car wash.
    • Do not wipe abrasive substance on the sticker.
  • Is there a replacement fee for the RFID?

    The warranty will be void if the RFID is unmounted, lost, transferred, or damaged due to mishandling or removal. There is a replacement fee of PhP 300.00 for lost or damaged RFID.

  • What vehicles are required to have RFID?

    All vehicles entering and exiting SBGP Gates are required to have a valid RFID sticker. This applies to locators, sublessees, employees, and gate passers.

  • What happens if my RFID doesn't scan at the gate?

    If your RFID fails to scan, call the attention of the Security personnel so they can assist you. If the RFID is damaged or defective, you may need to apply for a replacement at the SBDMC, Inc. Admin office.

RFID Guidelines

Avoid Tailgating


Maintain distance. Keep one (1) car length between your vehicle and the next one.


Wait Your Turn


Barrier closes after each vehicle. Wait until the vehicle ahead has fully passed the barrier gate and the boom arm has lowered down before you proceed.


Do Not Transfer


RFID are non-transferrable and non-refundable. Do not peel it off and transfer in other location or vehicle.


RFID Blocking


SBDMC, Inc. has the right to block/confiscate RFID access of vehicles of companies/SBGP Locators found to have violations under their lease agreements with SBDMC, Inc., and other users who violated proper usage of RFID sticker or any SBGP rules and regulations.
